The Hawai’i AgriTourism Association (HATA) is the leading organization and recognized voice that connects the agriculture sector with the visitor industry and residents across Hawai`i for mutual educational and economic development. HATA is a membership based non-profit dedicated to providing education and economic opportunities to members that include teaching a farmer, rancher, nursery owner, students and other agriculturalists who are interested and passionate about agritourism —- on “how to” diversify your farm, “how to” market your farm, developing farm tours, creating key (peer to peer & Biz2biz) collaborations within your community and “how to” produce value-added products. HATA also works with county and state legislators and council members to provide information on legal actions that directly affect the agritourism industry in Hawai`i.
